Terms of use

Last updated 9 October 2026

In short

  • Brandgrabit is free to use within its daily limits, and is provided as it is.
  • The logos, names and colours in a board belong to the brand they came from. Use them fairly, and never to pretend to be that brand.
  • Do not try to break, overload or misuse the service.

About these terms

Brandgrabit is run from the United Kingdom (“we”). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy.

Using Brandgrabit

Brandgrabit reads the public page of a website you give it and shows that site's logos, colours, fonts and styles as a board you can download. It is free. To keep it free for everyone there are limits: 5 boards a day without an account, 20 signed in, and an overall limit across all visitors.

We may change, pause or stop any part of the service, and we may block access that looks automated or abusive.

Your account

You sign in with Google or GitHub, and you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete it at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; where it is reasonable, we will tell you why first.

Brands and the websites you read

The logos, names, colours, fonts and other material in a board come from the website that was read. They usually belong to that brand and may be protected by trade mark, copyright or font licences. Brandgrabit is not connected to, or endorsed by, the brands that appear in boards.

You are responsible for how you use a board. In particular, you must not use one to:

  • pretend to be the brand, or make something that could be mistaken for it, such as a phishing page;
  • use a brand's logo or fonts in a way their owner has not allowed;
  • collect personal information from websites.

Studying a design, building for a client who has given you permission, and working on your own brand are the kinds of use Brandgrabit is for.

Fair use

Please do not:

  • try to get around the limits, for example with many accounts or automated requests;
  • attack, overload or probe the site, or try to make it reach private or internal addresses;
  • use it to break the law or anyone else's rights.

Shared boards

When you share a board, anyone with its link can see it, until you stop sharing it. You are responsible for what you share. We may remove a shared board that breaks these terms or that a brand or person asks us to take down.

What belongs to whom

The files you download from your boards are yours to use, subject to the rights of the brands they describe. The Brandgrabit site, its design and its code belong to us.

No guarantees

Boards are made automatically and can be incomplete or wrong, especially for sites that block automated visits. Check a board before you rely on it. The service is provided “as is”, without any promise that it will always be available or free of faults.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. If you use Brandgrabit as a consumer, you also keep your legal rights.

Otherwise, because the service is free, we are not responsible for loss of profit, business, data or opportunity, or for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to £50.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and important changes will be announced on the site first. You can stop using Brandgrabit at any time.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
